I’m gonna recommend one of my favourite hangout places what is near to house. Situated in BSD City, The Breeze is a recommended hangout place for you who love a nice outdoor view. Plus, it has a lot of recommended restaurants that you can enjoy eating. If you love seafood, there’s Dermaga. If you love pasta, you can go to The Fool. If you love Sushi, you might like Sushitei. There are also cafes if you just want to hang back and drink a cup of joe.
I got the opportunity to come the far east side of Indonesia. It’s not really an adventure since I mainly came here to work but I managed to get a few shots. Overall, Jayapura is so beautiful. The first thing that came up my mind is the beautiful sea view. It’s just breathtaking to see such a gorgeous landscape. Also, I was thinking that Jayapura is behind in its infrastructure development but that’s not true at all. The road is much better and in good condition. However, it still lacks a good mass transportation and the price of things are relatively higher than other island in Indonesia. But overall, it was a pleasant trip.
It’s been awhile since I touched my blog and fortunately today I have just the right time to do that. For your information, I’m now married so this post is so late. My engagement was held in the procession of a Betawi tradition. If you are not familiar with Betawi culture, it’s a culture comes from the native people of Jakarta.
In Betawi culture, when a guy wants to purpose to a girl, he and his family will come to the girl’s house bringing Roti Buaya or a bread with the shape of a crocodile. And both of the families will assigned a Palang Pintu or somekind of warrior that will performed a pantun or somekind of rap battle but instead of insulting each other, they will praise the person who hired them. However, I only fulfilled one of the traditions which is bringing Roti Buaya to my fiancee. I also forgot to mention that the reason that the Betawi culture picked a crocodile shaped bread is they think crocodiles to be a loyal animal. When they mate, they will stay together for life.
Another resort that is available in Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, Jakarta, is the Seaworld. If you are into aquatic exotics, then you might want to visit this place. However, to me, Seaworld hasn’t really changed much over the course of the year. There is an additional aquarium that uses telephone booth and minivan that I think it’s quite amusing to watch but other than that, there is not much to see. It would be great if Seaworld gets somekind of dolphin show where audience can enjoy.
I don’t have any information how long it has been since Taman Impian Jaya Ancol has added Ecopark on their resort roster list. If you guys didn’t know yet, Taman Impian Jaya Ancol is a recreational resort in Ancol, Jakarta, where in this place you can visit various kind of attractions. Ranging from theme park, aquarium zoo, beach, waterpark, Taman Impian Jaya Ancol is a go-to place for Jakartans during the weekends. The last time I visit Ancol, which was a very very long time ago, they haven’t got Ecopark. So, seeing this for the first time has peaked my curiosity. It’s quite an interesting resort actually if you are a nature kind of guy. I recommend visiting this place early in the morning and you can rent yourself a bike there to enjoy the relaxing resort.
It’s a little bit of a late post but I got a chance to visit Bangkok, Thailand, for 3 days. I was attending a workshop in TNFIS regarding digital banking. From what I saw, Bangkok personifies Jakarta very much. I mean, the crowded city and the delicious street food are very familiar to me. But of course, Bangkok is way cleaner than Jakarta could ever dreamed of. Hopefully, someday Jakarta can be a city such like Bangkok. I noticed also that the malls in Bangkok are connected near the MRT station which is really a very brilliant idea. People don’t need to bring their cars when they want to hangout at the mall. Also, you don’t have to get sunburned nor drenched in the rain since these connecting bridgewalks have a roof to protect you. All and all, I very enjoyable trip!
It’s been such a pinnacle moment for me. I remember that the first time I write my article in this precious little sharing spot of mine was when I was in my university year pursuing my bachelor program. A lot has happened during the course of the time and I love every moment of it. Now I have found the one that I will spend my life with. Thank you for all the readers and the authors that makes Randomness Thing so colorful that I will cherish it with all my heart.
